So the big question is what it the recipe for the detox. Well here it is.

The Product Nerd Natural Detox Bath Soak

A simple, all-natural bath ritual for a relaxing, refreshed feeling.

Looking for an easy way to turn your bath into a relaxing self-care ritual? This simple Natural Detox Bath Soak combines four classic bath and skincare ingredients: Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay, Relative Foods Baking Soda, Epsom salt, and warm water.

The result is a mineral-rich, skin-focused soak designed to leave you feeling refreshed and your skin feeling clean and soft.

🛁 Ingredients

1 cup Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay

1 cup Relative Foods Baking Soda

1 cup Epsom salt

Warm bath water

✨ How to Prepare Your Detox Bath

Step 1 — Prepare your bath

Fill your bathtub with comfortably warm water. Avoid making the water excessively hot, since very hot water can irritate or dry the skin.

Step 2 — Add the Epsom salt

Pour 1 cup of Epsom salt into the running bath water and allow it to dissolve.

Step 3 — Add the baking soda

Add 1 cup of baking soda and gently swirl the water with your hand to distribute it.

Step 4 — Add the clay

Slowly sprinkle 1 cup of Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay into the bath while stirring the water. Try to break up any large clumps so the clay disperses more evenly.

Step 5 — Soak & relax

Soak for approximately 10–15 minutes; no more than 20 minutes. Use this time to relax, unwind and enjoy your self-care ritual.

Step 6 — Rinse

When you're finished, rinse your body with clean, lukewarm water and gently pat your skin dry.

💚 The Product Nerd Tip

This bath is best treated as a self-care and skin-cleansing ritual and natural detox to cleanse and balance.

Natural Detox Trio with Epsom salt, baking soda, and healing clay; text says Cleanse, Refresh, Renew.

Important Tip:

Because bentonite clay can be drying or irritating for some people, start with a shorter soak and discontinue use if you experience burning, itching, significant redness or irritation. Aztec Secret's directions also state that its clay is for external use and should be discontinued if irritation occurs.

Epsom salt baths aren't recommended over open wounds, severe burns, skin infections or severe skin inflammation.

🧖‍♀️ How Often?

For a relaxing self-care routine, consider using this soak occasionally rather than daily, particularly if your skin tends to be dry or sensitive.

The Product Nerd philosophy: Keep it simple. Use ingredients you recognize, create a relaxing ritual, and pay attention to how your skin responds.
